last day of AFA'09
must say i had a great time going all the way to suntec these past two days.
though the pushing and shoving, i could do without..
i swear, this kinda event trains your reaction time.
its like, when you see a cosplayer posing and if you arent fast enough,
some other asshole / photographer / geeky fanboy will just waltz in front of you, park there, and start snapping.
on saturday, i was really frustrated, cause i brought my 55-250mm lens instead of my 18-55mm.
so that meant me having to stand quite a distance away to shoot.
edmund was laughing at me cause i was having a hard time shooting.
(thanks ah you ass, never remind me to change lens :/ hahah )
so on the second day, i was smart, i brought both lens.
went there at about 6plus because SOMEONE went to sing karoke at a ktv
and ended going home around 7am+ and only woke up at about 3pm!
there wasnt anything much left, only the anisong concert which wasnt half bad.
but it was still too far for us to snap, so me and edmund ended up taking photos of the screens.
it was super epic cause the different lights used really threw off the white balance.

okay just got back gome from the japanese garden after the meteor showers.
it was kinda disappointing really.
i didnt know which was worse. cloudy skies or the science center's event
the science center had this meteor watching event thing at the japanese garden too.
but it was a total failure, seriously.
because the light pollution there was *speechless*
they had bright white lights everywhere and was even screening movies!
with all those lights, how to watch out for the meteors!?
and they're from the science center!
so shouldnt they have known better and turned down the lights and made it more of a star gazing event rather than a movie screening event?
ugh. but the good thing is, i managed to catch a glimpse of some shooting stars and wished for you :D

on the way to the flyer, saw this art exhibit thing at the esplanade walkway and guess what.
IT WAS AN EXHIBIT ON GUMMY BEARS !! OMG HAPPY MUCH ?!
ate at popeyes, then later went on to get my lens.
watched "paranormal activity" cause 2012 was at 945 and if we had watched that, we would've missed the last train home.
kay so the movie started out as boring at first.
just the main characters talking a whole lot of blahhh and shaky hands recording the video.
the exciting part was the recording at night, where they had all the sound effects and the paranormal activity going on.

in all my years of watching horor shows, i have never heard the entire cinema remain silent at the end, until today.
when the movie was over, everyone just sat there in silence.
it was so quiet that you could hear the wind in the cinema, yeah that was how quiet it was.
i guess everyone just didnt know what to expect.

but guigui was late, so we went to the arcade at cwp.
jaron was itching to try the new djmax game but said he he'd only play it once e zone had it.
finally, the temptation was too great. he and daryl ended up playing it anyway. hahah.
guigui finally reached at 12 D: so we took 950 to JB.
i swear, the journey there was a killer.it was damn crowded D:
we only got to city square at 1+.
walked around a bit, went to eat at sushi king
then alex and jaron went off earlier cause they had something to attend to.
took polaroids before we left.

around evening, werty and guigui left for dinner.
me sammy and daryl slacked at starbucks, then sammy went to eat her meesua.

went back to singapore, coincidentally, bumped into werty with guigui and his family
